My Best Life Coaching

My Best Life Coaching exists because of Wayne's 20 years of experience as a Shiatsu Therapist at Abramson Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital. Having worked with over 2,000 individuals impacted by cancer, Wayne noticed a common theme during his sessions ... "Cancer has been a wake-up call. I know it's time to make some changes in my life, and I'm ready to make those changes. But I don't know how."

Does this resonate with you? Are you looking for ways to create the best version of yourself simply and realistically so you have the energy, health, and sense of well-being you dream about?

Change is possible! It can be challenging, though. Navigating all the self-care advice that comes to you from every direction can be overwhelming, and creating new healthy habits can be hard. That's where a coach can be a helpful partner.

My Best Life Coaching provides you with the support and resources you need for your wellness journey.

  • Wayne is a highly-trained coach, with years of experience working with those who are focused on improving their lives.

  • Wayne is also highly trained and experienced in providing support based on holistic, Eastern, and Chinese Medicine wisdom, perspectives, principles, and strategies for enhancing your health and well-being.

You nourish what you give your attention to. So, the primary focus of My Best Life Coaching is to "create more wellness" in your life. As you create more wellness in your life, what ails you or challenges you tends to ease.

It's a simple approach. Attention to the daily basics is the most effective strategy for nourishing health and well-being.

It's a realistic approach. Making your decisions and actions based on what is realistic for you is the shortest path to success - transforming your life one step at a time.

Wayne Mylin,
Dip. ABT (NCCAOM), AOBTA®-CP

I have been a healthcare provider all my professional life. A career as a mental health professional preceded my career as a shiatsu bodywork therapist and a life, wellness, and cancer coach.

Before the COVID pandemic, I was the shiatsu therapist at Penn Medicine's Abramson Cancer Center at Pennsylvania Hospital from 2001 to 2021. I also had a private practice for many of those years.

I have worked with thousands of people, providing them with care, treatments, and support for their journey.

Along the way, I've learned a few things ...

  • The most effective strategies for improving health and quality of life are usually the simplest.

  • Focusing on "creating more wellness" is typically more effective than "getting rid of" your condition, disease, or what's not working in your life.

  • Even while receiving necessary medical treatment for a condition or disease, remaining focused on wellness-creating activities can significantly impact one's ability to heal, resilience, and quality of life.

  • The support of having another person or a community at your side often makes a world of difference!

I am passionate about what I do and am excited about this next phase of my career as a coach. I hope the support and resources you find on this site are comforting and beneficial to your wellness journey.
